Is Armand Morin Wasting Your Time Too ?

Most of you have probably never heard of me.You may even be asking yourself "Self why am I spending my valuable time reading an unknown`s blog" If you don`t ask yourself this question maybe it is time you did.If you have read any of my previous entries you will know I am an avid follower of Armand Morin and what he has to say. This does not mean I am mindless and not able to create on my own.In fact it is just the opposite.

My name is Ken Chandler and on October 27th,28th and 29th of 2006 I attended The Big Seminar in Atlanta for the first time. What a ride , Armand Morin sure knows how to throw a party. I learned a ton of things to help me build my business as well as resources to do it with. With everything I did learn while attending ,my biggest lesson came after The Big Seminar.

I returned home to many sleepless nights,a head full of ideas and not a clue how to implement. But wait didn`t I just say I learned a ton of stuff at the Big Seminar ? Well I did and because of this I all to soon realized before I could implement most of these great ideas. I had a lot of catch up to do just to get into position to move forward. The more I looked at resources ,strategies the more I realized I didn`t have the framework in place to execute them.Talk about disapointment. I commonly refer to this as
the chicken and egg dilemma . Ever been in this boat ? Well pick yourself up and dust off it isn`t the end of the world.

Your first step is to look at where your business truly is. Don`t try to inflate your ego while you look, this will not help you in the end. Look at your list , is it viable? Can you market to your list ? If you answer no or maybe, then chances are they are just names on a page and will do you little good. Make out a plan review your sites, products and strategies.Get rid of what you know doesn`t work and concentrate on what does Once you know where you are you can better see where you need to go

If you listen to nothing else that I say at least think about this. Who do you listen to and let influence your business way of doing things. This question will rule your income, your business and whether you succeed or fail. The internet is full of those who have great claims of success but beware many are nothing more than that . Listen to the ones that that have risen above the crowd and find out how they did it,and implement what applies to you and your business plan. The real sucess stories of the internet
offer proven plans .Invest in your future what you wish to get out of it.

I want a lot ,that`s why I listen to every word Armand has to say.I listen to his select group of speakers as well. They all offer real solutions to the challenges you face in your business. He has picked each one for their unique expertise.

I hope this has been useful and I thank you for taking the time to read me. If you haven`t done so in the past I urge you to look at where you are and where you are going. Then find the best way to get there I am Ken Chandler an up and coming Internet Marketer

Daughter Shuns Big Seminar Speaker Drawing

Hello Everyone Thanks for stopping by.
Well if you are like me you kinda had your heart set on hearing more about Armand Morin`s Big Seminar Speakers. I regret to inform you my daughter simply refused to pull another name out of the hat tonight.
So instead I will talk about how to choose tools that you hear about. She said that was ok Needless to say since going to Big Seminar in Atlanta I have been bombarded by some pretty neat tools. Unfortunately in the last week I have invested considerable time signing up for ,installing and then attempting to utilize some of them.
What the end result has been is an e-mail box full of conformation mails and log on and a host of new things popping up everywhere on my screen. So my advice on trying out tools is do what any sane person might and try them out one at a time. Not in rapid succession as I have just done.:) Give yourself time to try and perfect the custom settings to your liking before moving on to the next latest and greatest.
Another classic mistake I have discovered is don`t just jump on a tool that you heard about. It may be ok for someone else but not what You need .or not what you are ready for Classic example is this blog. I utilized http://www.blogger.com The idea was it is an easier blogging tool to start with. I give this tool a big thumbs up, it was easy to start with. But I have decided to change my blogging tool to wordpress. You can get yours here
http://wordpress.com/
Now I am faced with learning to move my existing blog from one to another. Thus adding to my growing list of things to learn. Now before you say it, I already know I do not have to do everything and that is absolutely right. Being a newbie I desire to learn the nuts and bolts of what I use so that later I will know when it is time to upgrade to a more functional tool.
Armand has a great selection of tool icons to click on his page. I now figure I was probably not ready to try about half of them. Ease your way into tools at a pace comfortable for you. You can always use the other option of hiring someone to set these things up for you. Remember you do not have to do everything yourself.
Before I close let me suggest you develop a plan for what you hope to achieve. Save the file. With any business a formidable business plan is a must. Online is no different,if you hire someone to manage your sites or projects ,not having to explain everything in detail will save you both time. Simply send the file and after they review it discuss questionable areas. .It will also serve as an anchor to keep you on course. Don`t over complicate your tasks. Your business is tough enough without you making it harder.

Mike Woo Ming Armand Morin called a "DR" To The Big Seminar

Hi and Welcome back
Well my Daughter did it again. She pulled Dr Mike Woo Ming`s name from the hat. I am glad Armand called a Dr to the Big Seminar. What a talk about lead generation. This guy has a sense of humor as well
Tonight is the second of my reviews on the guest speakers from Armand Morins Big Seminar 8 recently held in Atlanta.
For those of us both new and old to the internet marketing stage, there is something to be learned from everybody. This lesson may be as simple as what not to do in your business .But the key may not be so obvious. Mike Woo Ming was an actual Dr with a practice. Now why you ask would he give that up to work on line. I asked myself this several times as I listened to him. Soon it became apparent to me, because he knows what he is doing and he has a passion for it.
You see most of what he had to say about lead generation I had been introduced to in one form or another. But when he asked the question
Are You Giving Your Traffic Away?

I really had to think about that one. I have bought leads several times, none of which produced anything for me. When it was all said and done I didn`t have names ,e-mails or any other information on the people .Don`t forget I paid them to come to my site. So I have to say I was giving my traffic away. Something else I learned that I had not been doing was Targeting. Why hadn`t I thought of that before You wouldn`t send square dancers to a disco site would you? Well maybe I might have before listening to Dr Mike

Dr Mike really hit my zone when he said Give them something for their full contact information. There is nothing I dislike more than someone asking me to fill out a long form just to see their content. I may have just surfed into their site to ease an idle curiousity. The last thing in the world I want to do is fill out a form just to see if I am interested . Now throw giving me a gift for that same information into the equasion and suddenly its not such a bad idea after all.

So let`s add another name to the list of people you really should listen to. Dr. Mike has a lot to say and it has value If you don`t believe me go to google and type in his name ad see for yourself. I will make it easy to find him with this handy link.

Spotlight on Armand Morin`s Big Seminar Guest Speaker Ryan Deiss

Hello and welcome to my tiny little corner of the Internet. Have a seat and by all means get comfortable
Tonight I wish to concentrate on just one of the speakers from Armand Morin`s Big Seminar In this series of talks I hope to relay what I took away from each speaker.I cannot say one was any better than the rest. Each speaker bought to bear a unique Internet Marketing Strategy.
I could not decide who to start with so I placed the names in a hat and had my 5 year old daughter choose one. .So let me introduce Ryan Deiss.
As with all the speakers ,I had never heard of Ryan Deiss. Who is he? What is his methodology to the Internet.? Can I apply any of his tactics ?
The first thing that I really paid attention to was his approach that becoming successful online is far from easy. (Nothing startling about this but he came right out and admitted what I had been thinking all along.) But rather it requires a lot of hard work. Now to me that`s honest and something an average person can come to terms with .
Ryan went on to express the importance of traffic. He stated you can have a great product but if you have no traffic you simply aren`t going to make any money. He stressed the importance of research. Know your market if you intend to provide them service. I noticed several examples of old style marketing being utilized by him as well. I would never have thought to contact someone offline for an online deal.. Another thing I liked about Ryan is his tips for those businesses starting out with a limited budget. You don`t have to have a bankroll to strike a deal. You also don`t need a fancy web site. You need a functional website. He breaks down a web page and tells you which areas to put or not put your content. Need to know what type ads to place ? Here is your man.
If you have ever heard the phrase get back to the basics this is what comes to mind when I think of Ryan Deiss. He has in my opinion takes the basics and stripped them down to the necessity He then takes this to build a solid business base. I am personally going to follow up on Ryan so that I may learn more of what he has to offer.I am sure I will be blogging more about him in the future.
Here is one of his pages that I found and wanted to share with you Enjoy

How I used a tip I learned at the Big Seminar

Hello again and Thanks for coming back. If this is your first visit I hope you enjoy as I try to pass on a beginners first hand experience at Armand Morin`s Big Seminar 8 that was just held in Atlanta.
I wish to start off with a prime example of why you absolutely must learn about Tools and how they play a part in your Internet Marketing scheme .I have been posting the last few days and not really thought about what it was doing for me. Naturally it is to early to really look at web page stats and crunch the numbers and see if I have had usable increase in traffic
Imagine my surprise this evening when I got on line and saw I had an Google alert. Me, someone had posted somewhere about me, the virtual newbie on the scene. Well naturally I had to rush right in and see what was there. I thought I had clicked the wrong place because of all the pages to come up was ....Armand Morin`s Well as I got to looking at the page there was my name at the top of his post .
I actually learned about Google alerts from Armand so here I am ironically a week later being used as an example of how they work. Armand had gotten a Google alert after I posted my blog.Needless to say I am quite pleased to be the example he choose to use I am also even more determined to increase my internet presence by using the tools I learned at the Big Seminar To see his post proceed to

My Head is Still Spinning From Big Seminar

My Head is Still Spinning From Big Seminar

Hello and thanks for stopping by.
Have you ever had that feeling like the whole world was spinning? It`s not quite a week since Armand Morin`s Big Seminar 8 in Atlanta has ended. I don`t think my feet have touched the ground yet. I have lived on about 2 hrs sleep a night (if I am lucky) What`s the problem you ask?
Well it`s that Armand guy, he simply overloaded me with to much information. So now I am forced to deal with a head full of ideas. Do you have any idea what it`s like for someone else to make you think.
Hi my name is Ken Chandler ,self confessed newbie to the internet marketing world .It is my attempt to pass along my first Big Seminar experience.

I have a confession to make. I am the guy you normally see nodding off after about 15 minutes of talking. Not this time every speaker captured my attention. I even found myself on the edge of my chair several times. I wrote so many notes that I cant make head or tails of part of it. So I am waiting to get my hands on the video so I can relive the experience over and over again. But tonight I am going to take a mandatory break and pass on a few tips for future first timers to the Big Seminar
I would like to recommend a few things that I noticed and also some I was told about. -Top on the list *have some business cards made*.Even if you don`t have a website have your e-mail and other contact info on there for those that you meet.
-next use standard size cards for your contact info.(reason to follow with next tip)
-If your budget allows pick up a card scanner I have just spent several hours typing a spreadsheet with all the info on the cards I collected. Had I knew I would have had a card scanner waiting on me when I got home
a note on this there are software packs that will allow you to utilize most flatbed scanners to capture the card information. Unfortunately of all that I have tried none worked as was desirable. So I went back to typing the info.
Reason I suggested standard size cards is for those utilizing the card readers. Make sure your card is readable by these.
-Make contact with those you met. The door is open Don`t let it shut due to inactivity. Internet marketing is best done with JV partners and the people you meet and form friendships with are your best allies.
-Get plenty of sleep beforehand because you won`t get a lot once you are there.
-Don`t plan a lot of sideline activities to do while you are there. Utilize your time to network while you are there. After all networking is a key element inn internet marketing strategy.
-Give yourself some quiet time to gather your thoughts. Keep a pad handy and jot down those ideas while you remember them .Then act on them don`t put your ideas on a shelf for future projects .Chances are it will be to late or never get done.
Well I hope the tips are handy .In the days ahead I plan to post my reviews of all the speakers. I will try to do one every other day. So make sure you come back and have a read.

"Is Saddam`s verdict being released now for political reasons".

I was just watching the news and the big question was "Is Saddam`s verdict being released now for political reasons".

Well I had to scratch my head on that one. Is anything that happens that deals with our politicians whether democratic, republican or independent not capable of having a political spin? I think not.

Truth is the trial has went on for considerable time now and I don`t think anyone should be surprised that he has been found guilty.Nor that it is coming to a close.I fail to see where it changes any politician`s track record over the last few years. If you only listen to the news you get a pretty one sided tale of any issue these days.So the release of the verdict now will have no impact on how I vote.

I have found my general view of all politicians to be bleak. If they would forget which party they belong to and represent the people who appointed them we might not be able to find so many issues with divided opinions in this country,The questions such as this article addresses would have the minuscule amount of attention that they deserve and politicians could concentrate less on public polls and actually do the jobs we hired them to do.after all we are paying them to do a job.

I would much rather see the media use its leverage on our politicians to force them to address such issues as Social Security,Health Care,Education and the list goes on and on of things that matter to us all.

What say you??

Armand Morin Big Seminar ...Hype or Helpful

Hello and thanks for coming by my blog.I ask that you get a cup of your favorite drink and just spend a few minutes and read this post. I PROMISE you will be glad you did.

I want you to imagine, take any topic that you have a keen interest in....Got it ?OK good, Now just imagine you are suddenly in a room with about 500 others with your same interest.Everyone is focused on the same thing. Can you feel the energy that is being created? I know I can.
But what if I tell you this is only the start. I hope I have your attention. My name is ken chandler and by all rights I am a newbie with only about 2 years of internet marketing under my belt. What makes it so bad I `m actually a veteran internet user having come on line in 1995. Want to know good chat programs or gaming sites where to get music or videos ? I am your man.Problem with that is I didn`t make a dime doing it.
I cannot even begin to tell you how many work at home and get rich schemes I have bought into.(and failed at)The countless memberships I have Some were doomed from the start, others required so much work you were better off working 9 to 5 somewhere.
So ...when I say I don't excite easy when I hear about a solution to the problem we all face working on line That is an understatement.
You see last year my wife attended the Big Seminar. She has about 6 years of online marketing. She like myself has always thought if you want to do something do it yourself.Cheaper and faster is the mindset. But I am here to tell you we were both as far from the truth without knowing it as we could be.
To make a long story short even as I watched for this past year as she moved her business forward at record speed while mine remained in limbo. She would tell me things I needed to do but I just never got around to it.I also met someone who attended the seminar with her.We exchanged contact info and I have watched as he has skyrocketed his home business as well. How did they do it you might ask.And why did I do nothing with mine when I had the tools right there at my fingertips?
That brings me back to Big Seminar,it is hosted by Armand Morin.I have to tell you this man has his act together. He offers what I consider no pressure tactics.Sure like everyone else he wants you to buy something but that is not the main focus. Myself being the kinda guy who leaves a store or car lot when I start getting badgered by sales people, trust me when I say I was never uncomfortable with the level of sales pitch used.

Armand brings together some of the top talent that you can find in the world and they all share trade secrets and tactics in a way that is unequaled anywhere else in my opinion.

Don`t take my word for it go to google and type in any of these names and you can see for yourself the caliber of Armand`s lineup.

Armand Morin, Alex Mandossian, Jim Edwards, Stephen Pierce, Rick Raddatz, Stephanie Frank, Martin Wales, John Carlton, Derek Gehl, Michel and Sylvie Fortin, Mike Woo Ming, Joe Polish, Dave Lakhani, Rich Schefren, JJ Childers, John Reese, Marlon Sanders, Mike Stewart, Paul Colligan, Randy Charach, Randy Gilbert, Matt Bacak,Ryan Deiss, Loral Langemier, Stu McLaren,

This is by far not all but it is enough to give you an idea of the talent that comes to the stage.

Remember I had you envision about 500 people all with one focus.Well let me explain what I meant. You take 500 people, all with the goal of increasing thier online business and you bring them together. You have a lineup of speakers that not only tell you ways to maximize your business but give you thier resources and tools so that you are just as equipped as they are. Then they layout a strategy as to how you get where you need to be.OK you say what`s the catch.Well they all offer thier own training programs. What`s wrong with that I ask. If you go to a store and buy a product ,don`t you look for the instructions as to how you use your new product? I know I do.What good would thier tools be if they didn't offer you a way to learn how to use them. So here`s the catch You have to be there plain and simple if not you miss out.

Next I tell you about the people who attend. Some are already making sizable incomes online some online and offline.you have people in startup stages some don`t even have a website yet.I actually applaud these people for getting started the right way right from the beginning. You have every step in between the starter and the seasoned vet there as well.Throughout the whole event you have a chance to mingle and get to know everyone of them. The fancy word is networking but I call it placing a face with the voice. How about the speakers I listed out above Would you like to talk to them one on one and ask that burning question that pertains to YOUR business. I wanted to and I did. Some I actually had the chance to talk with for an hour or better. Not only talk but listen to what they had to say to me and my questions. But that`s not all, throughout the event Armand feeds you well I might add He is a master at keeping this group tightly knit and networking from start to finish. The day is long but so worth the effort.Even after the day is done people are still there into the night working out JV`s and getting to know each other Asking questions and figuring out where they go next.

To say I left Big Seminar with a wealth of information is the understatement of the year I left there with my world rocked and I mean turned upside down..My wife has no idea who I am right now she has never saw me so wound up over anything since the birth of our 3 daughters. Big Seminar 8 was simply put 3 days that have lit my fire and changed my total outlook at my business.

I hope you have found this enlightening how Armand Morin`s Big Seminar looked from a fresh perspective. Before I close this post I will share one of the last things Armand talked to us about. Remember those 500 people sitting in a room ,all commonly linked by the same goals?Only about 10 of them will go on to do what they learned at Big Seminar.Sadly I know this is right.I also know I am one of the 10 who will move my business to new heights Will I ever attend another Big Seminar To this I say Just try to stop me
